I'm not a morbid person, I just play a lot of scary video games!

Just a note about myself as an artist.. I have noticed i've given a dark representation of myself and my area of art.. But i want to assure the viewer i'm not as dark and morbid as I make myself appear. I am a sucker for colorful, bright, and obnoxiously cute things. I just found my 'artistic style' in the macabre/horror/dark/morbid area.. Which is I think is thanks to a couple things.

1. Video games. I've been an avid Resident Evil fan since since I was 7 years old..and grew up with the Silent Hill series. Those video games have been a huge inspirational tool for me for quite some time without me ever really 'trying'. I also have a lot of sight for imagery that gives feeling of reality. The world is not always bright and colorful, and I think i'm the artist that incorporates that in the work/edits I do. I see beauty in every aspect of the world though..but then again

2. I create (usually) based on emotion. Some of my work this last year has come from negative and depressing emotions.. rejection, abandonment, loneliness.

I haven't necessarily made a lot of 'bright and upbeat' images..I feel that my 'upbeat/positive' artistry is in my writing, and my layout designs. I feel that my 'relaxed, calm, ambiance' side is shown through my music..

I think I am just a weirdo who has many different sides. I don't think it's a bad thing.

I just wanted a chance to let the viewer get an idea of me as a person, since I feel i've done nothing but give myself a dark perception..

God I hope this wasn't pointless to post..
